Take your AI execution to the next level. We help you navigate complex challenges, design effective strategies, and run pilot programs that deliver real value.
From Strategy to Execution
Our consulting services are designed to provide the clarity and expertise you need to make the right moves in AI. We partner with you on:
We believe in a no-nonsense approach to consulting. Our process is designed to be clear, collaborative, and focused on delivering tangible outcomes.
1
Discovery & Scoping
We start with a deep-dive briefing to understand your goals, challenges, and the specific context of your organisation.
2
Collaborative Design
We work closely with your team to co-design the strategy, pilot plan, and success metrics, ensuring it's practical and has internal buy-in.
3
Mentorship
We provide hands-on guidance throughout the project, but balance that with space for you to experiment and learn.
4
Handover
At the pilot’s conclusion we provide you with a report documenting what was learned, recommendations and next steps.
Training vs. Consulting: What's the right fit?
We offer both training and consulting to meet different needs.
Choose Training if...
you need to build foundational or advanced AI skills across a team or for your leadership. Our workshops are designed for effective knowledge transfer.
Choose Consulting if...
you have a specific challenge or idea that requires a bespoke solution, such as developing a strategy, testing a new use case, or building out a policy.
Common questions about our training:
What does an AITC consulting engagement look like?
We follow a four-stage process: discovery and scoping, collaborative design, mentorship through the work, and a documented handover with recommendations and next steps. Most engagements run alongside your team rather than in isolation from them.
Do you build AI tools for clients, or just advise?
Our consulting is primarily strategic. We help you design and run pilot programs, develop AI policy and figure out where AI fits in your organisation. We don't typically build production AI software, but we can advise on what to build and work alongside your developers or technology partners.
How long does an AI pilot program take?
Most pilots run 4–12 weeks from kickoff to handover, depending on the use case and how much testing is involved. Discovery and scoping happens first, then we work with your team through design, hypothesis testing and measurement.
What kind of organisations do you work with?
We work with Australian businesses, government and media organisations. Past engagements have included Google, Spotify, Australian Community Media and the University of Queensland.
Do you help with AI policy and governance?
Yes. We help organisations develop practical AI governance policies and ethical guardrails that fit their culture and risk appetite. We don't believe in copy-paste templates and policy that doesn't reflect how your team actually works tends to get ignored.
How is consulting different from training?
Training builds skills across a team or leadership group. Consulting solves a specific problem. A consulting project might tackle a strategy question, a pilot you want to test or a policy you need to write. If you have a defined challenge, consulting fits. If you need a broader skill-up, training fits.
Who delivers the consulting work?
Senior consultants only. Founder Shaun Davies leads all consulting engagements alongside the AITC team. We don't outsource client work to junior staff or contractors.
